This two-day course teaches the Lean-Agile principles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). About the SAFe Agilist Certification
Overview
Attending the class prepares you to take the exam and become a certified SAFe Agilist (SA). The SAFe Agilist certification program is for executives, managers and Agile change agents responsible for leading a Lean-Agile change initiative in a large software enterprise. It validates their knowledge in applying the Scaled Agile Framework, lean thinking, and product development flow principles in an enterprise context so they can lead the adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework.

- SAFe Agilist certificate
- One year certified membership as a SAFe Agilist
- SAFe Agilist branding kit with the SA certification mark

Annual Renewal:
Renewals are from the date of certification

- Attendees may be eligible to apply for 16 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP and PMI-ACP certifications.
- Attendees may be eligible to apply for SEUs under category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance.

Study materials are online and provided by SIL. Rest well before the class, and take copious notes in the class.
Attendees may be eligible to apply for 16 PDUs for their continuing education requirements (category: B) with Project Management Institute for their PMP and PMI-ACP certifications.
Additionally, attendees may be eligible to apply for 16 SEUs under Category C towards earning or renewing their CSP certification through Scrum Alliance
PMI requires contact hours in Agile Practice and this class qualifies towards that. Please note however that this class is not designed to help you specifically prepare for the PMI-ACP certification, even though it counts towards meeting the prerequisite to apply for the test.
One time Exam and Certification fee is included in the cost.
Immediately after the course, the instructor shows you guidelines on how to give the exam online. Typically, you can take the exam in a 30-day window upon completion of the class. The certification exam is not proctored but timed. It’s a multiple-choice and multiple-options exam.

No, the fee is non-refundable because of the limited seating and we have to push the potential new enrollments away due to limited number of class. Once paid, the SA fee will not be refunded, if for any reason you cannot take the training.
No, your class cannot be transferred to a different month once enrolled on the same fee/enrollment.
The certification and access to SAFe studio is valid for a year from the date of certification and can be self- renewed by paying the $100 renewal fee.
Yes, SAFe Agilist Certification class can be attended online.
